Perfums Arabics.

Improving an existing online store to make purchasing easier.

We reorganised Perfums Arabics' Shopify store, catalogue, navigation, product pages and copy. We also worked on shipping and tax settings and provided logistics advice to address commercial and operational friction in the store.

Perfums Arabics

1. The client.

The client had an operational Shopify store with products uploaded but no clear conversion strategy or sales-optimised structure. Although the initial request appeared to be outsourcing product uploads, the project revealed deeper gaps in user experience, catalogue presentation and commercial approach.

The store worked technically, but was not designed as a strong sales system or a brand with a clear, well-presented proposition.

2. The challenge.

The main problem was strategic, not technical. The store was not designed to sell efficiently: its structure was poorly optimised for conversion, product pages lacked persuasive focus and its visuals lacked brand coherence.

Shipping, tax and logistics pricing decisions also needed improvement, creating purchase friction and limiting perceived value and overall ecommerce performance. The challenge was turning a functional store into a platform ready to convert traffic into real sales.

3. The solution.

Aurora Start expanded the project from a simple product-upload requirement to comprehensive ecommerce optimisation. The work redefined the store around conversion, improving product presentation, commercial structure and the shopping experience.

We redesigned the interface with a more premium, product-consistent approach, optimising navigation, discovery and catalogue hierarchy. Product pages were restructured with conversion-focused copy, images and collections were presented more effectively and categories were reorganised for easier exploration. We also correctly configured Shopify shipping and taxes and advised on logistics pricing to maximise margins without harming conversion. The goal was a real sales system, not just a catalogue.

4. The result.

The ecommerce site moved from merely functional to much better prepared to generate sales. Purchase friction was reduced, brand perception improved and the value proposition became clearer throughout the user journey.

The client gained stronger foundations for scaling through paid traffic or acquisition strategies, with a structure designed to convert more effectively and sustain more profitable growth.
